The Faculty Employment Coordinator assists with the successful credentialing and onboarding of physicians and advanced practice providers. The Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the initial credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging functions for all physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. This job interacts with Department/Divisional Chairs Offices, Human Resources, School of Medicine, MCVP and other Department Chair Offices and Health System Leadership.
The Faculty Employment Coordinator also provides administrative support tracking licensure, moonlighting, creating expense reports, maintaining supplies, etc. *This position is primarily onsite with flexibility for one day per week working from home. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of five (5) years Human Resources or customer service, secretarial/administrative experience Previous experience using a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications and e-mail calendaring Experience PREFERRED: Six (6) years of previous Human Resourcesor customer service, secretarial/administrative work Previous Human Resource experience in an academic or hospital setting One (1) year of previous experience in recruitment support Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or closely related field from an accredited program Independent action(s) required: Coordination of interview and recruitment related activities for faculty candidates who are identified and interviewed. Undertakes and completes other project work as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): N/A Additional position requirements: Must be willing to travel between facilities as needed.
