Auria is looking to hire a Regional Applications Systems Engineer Coordinator to support the C2BMC program. This role is ONSITE in Huntsville, AL.
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It serves as an essential operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor the battlefield collectively, and dynamically manage networked sensors and weapons systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats at all ranges and during every flight phase. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both globally and regionally to improve performance. C2BMC is crucial for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense system capabilities.
The purpose of the Regional Applications Systems Engineer Coordinator is to act as the primary technical liaison for software between Regional Applications (RA) cross-functional product teams and Systems Engineering, Verification, Integration, and Test RMAs, supporting system engineering-related efforts.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Will be responsible for coordinating RA efforts related to software updates within end-to-end systems engineering activities, including requirements flow analysis, support verification and validation, and test event efforts
- Will offer systems engineering expertise and leadership to ensure a disciplined software development process for defining, developing, and analyzing system capabilities
- Support the flow of requirements (CES, SCN, and PCN) and reviews, communication status, upcoming milestones, and dependencies
- Review Support Interface Control Document (ICD), communication status, upcoming milestones, and dependencies
- Support the V&V test plans and assist with coordinating test execution across test labs and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate problem reports with Solution Chiefs, handle customer reviews and releases to lead problem identification, and recommend future solutions
- Assist with staffing duties such as reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and choosing candidates
- Support the preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Engineering Estimates (EEs), proposal responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), and similar activities
- Software Architecture Design Document (SADD) and Functional Architecture Design Document (FADD) manager responsible for coordinating the content and maintenance of the documents
- Coordination and implementation of MBSE tools for regional applications
- The successful candidate will support Solution Leadership in ensuring that design documents and artifacts are completed for the Product Teams when required
- Identify process gaps, promote best practice adoption (such as model-based systems engineering and DevSecOps integration), and facilitate lessons learned capture
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, government, and customer representatives to support critical daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities
- Assist management with scheduling and technical aspects of the Regional Applications, including Iteration Planning and Task Order support
