Embedded Systems Software Engineer

As an Embedded Systems Software Engineer at Centrus Energy, you'll help power the next generation of advanced centrifuge technology by designing the brains and electronics behind our mission-critical control systems. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent industrial electronics experience
• 1-3 years in embedded systems design
• 1-3 years supporting manufacturing and/or R&D environments
• Experience with industrial electronics, embedded programming, and circuit design
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple technical projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a "Q" clearance.
  

A Successful Candidate Brings:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years relevant industrial electronics experience
• Embedded software development or test experience
• Experience in electric motor-control design
• 4+ years of experience in the nuclear industry
• Familiarity with electrical distribution systems, national codes, and regulatory requirements (UL, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, OSHA, NUREGs)
• Currently possesses a "Q" or "L" clearance
