Job Description

Provides strategic advice and guidance in support of Health System's Flight Operations strategy and growth. Serves as a project/technical lead on related enterprise level projects and assignments.

Job Responsibility

1.Collaborates with department leaders in the development, implementation, and maintenance of aviation-related policies and procedures.

2.Optimizes resource allocation to drive operational efficiency and build scalable capacity for future growth. Oversees vendor relationships and contracts.

3.Provides support in the execution of growth strategies for new markets, including research, planning, and operational setup.

4.Serves as a project/technical lead on large projects involving enterprise level interaction (new aircraft integration, new operational base development, related company launch, etc.).

5.Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.

6.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies; provide regular updates and reports to the Director.

7.Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of department systems that support aviation safety, regulatory compliance and department record-keeping.

8.Maintains current knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation industry best practices.

9.Promotes compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

10.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

11.Provides technical guidance in the use of new technologies, theories, concepts and techniques.

12.May provide input into hiring and promotion decisions, performance reviews and corrective actions.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Project Management or related field, required. Master's Degree, preferred.

Minimum of ten (10) years related experience inclusive of project management, program launches, and/or operational expansions, required. Prior air medical transport and/or helicopter experience, preferred.

Working knowledge of project management, vendor relations, contract negotiations and business growth activities.
