Job Title: IT Project Manager Description Employment Status:Full time Shift:Day (United States of America) Facility:451 Kimball Ave NE - Roanoke CP07 Carilion Medical Center. Requisition Number:R157661 IT Project Manager (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:TSG Project Manager manages and coordinates multiple, complex technology and implementation projects across the organization with minimal supervision. Plans, directs, and coordinates enterprise-wide initiatives for application development, system implementations, and technology-enabled business solutions. Leads matrixed, cross-functional teams; develops project plans and schedules; manages risks, issues, scope, and change; and maintains strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and external vendors. PMP Certification Preferred Onsite is preferred, hybrid or remote work option is available. Candidates residing in the following states may be considered for remote work: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia
What We Require: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field required; or 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a healthcare or business environment, preferably involving information systems, technology implementations, or application development. Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: none. Other Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, including Agile and Waterfall approaches. Familiarity with ITIL principles and structured change management practices. Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in deadline-driven environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrixed organizations and lead cross-functional teams Strong customer service orientation and commitment to quality outcomes.
