Social Worker, MSW Full-time Direct Hire

Summary

The Social Worker will counsel consumers and their familieis and provide assistance in understanding illness and disabilities and helps resolve personal, financial and environment difficulties that interview with obtaining maximum benefits. Works in accorance with policies, the rules and requirements of applicable regularoty agencies and the standards of the profession. develops collaborative relations with other disciplines to assure proper client care.

Education and/or experience

Master's degree in Social work from an accredited program. One year of prior experience as a Social Worker preferred.

Bilingual Spanish required.

License/Certification

NYS Certification (CSW). Note: Individuals with NYS Certification in Social Work (CSW) have certification that was automatically converted to the NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
