FlexStaff is hiring a TEMP Customer Service Rep in Suffolk County part-time.

Location: Port Jeferson/Suffolk County

Schedule: Monday 8:00- 3:00p.m, Tuesday 8:00-3: 00p.m, & Friday 8: 00a.m-3: 00p.m

Rate: $22/hr.

The Customer Representative is the first point of contact for patients, delivering outstanding service and support. Primary responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving patient inquiries, and ensuring a positive patient experience, while working closely with the team to meet performance goals and contribute to the overall success of the Patient Access Department.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Patient Interaction: Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy. Address patient inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve patient concerns, including billing issues, medical inquiries, and technical support. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department as needed.

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information and interaction details into the company EMR. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

    Quality Assurance:


  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and call handling guidelines. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on office and department policies, services, and best practices.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals. Share insights and feedback to help improve processes and patient satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude are essential.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
