Cable Technician - Connecticut (Licensed or Unlicensed) Immediate Work Available + Ongoing Opportunities Location: Connecticut (Statewide) Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based / Ongoing Opportunities Industry: Telecom / Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Overview We are actively building a network of Cable Technicians across Connecticut to support immediate project needs as well as ongoing and future work. Work is available starting immediately, and we are also looking to connect with technicians for upcoming projects throughout the state. This posting is intended for licensed and unlicensed technicians, including apprentices and individuals just coming out of trade school, who are interested in shortterm work, longterm contracts, or repeat project opportunities. Immediate Needs * Cable technicians available to start as soon as today or this week * Commercial and enterprise environments * Daytime shifts (with occasional offhours depending on site) * Locations vary across Connecticut Types of Work May Include * Structured cabling installation (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber) * Cable pulls, terminations, and testing * Rack and stack, patch panels, and cable management * Pathway work including Jhooks, conduit, and tray * Device installs (WAPs, cameras, access control, AV endpoints) * Reading and working from prints, drawings, or scope documents * Working independently or as part of a field team Required / Desired Experience * Experience as a cable technician, lowvoltage technician, telecom installer, apprentice, or trade school* graduate* * Ability to work in commercial or construction environments * Willingness to learn and take direction on job sites * Comfort using hand tools and basic test equipment (or desire to learn) * Ability to follow safety standards and job site procedures * Reliable transportation within Connecticut Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
