Director of Sales, US - Operational Service Management (OSM)

Position Summary:

Join our Operational Service Management (OSM) team and help our diverse customer base modernize and optimize their IT and operational services using OpenText OSM solutions. In this strategic leadership role, you will create and execute sales strategies to expand market presence, empower your team, and drive significant revenue growth across the US region. We are seeking a driven, results-oriented sales leader who can build, develop, and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering innovative OSM solutions across the enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team Recruitment and Development - Recruit, develop, and support a high-performing OSM sales team.

* Strategic Leadership - Lead and inspire the team to achieve revenue and pipeline goals.

* Sales Enablement - Ensure your team is equipped to effectively identify, qualify, position, demonstrate, and articulate the value of OpenText OSM solutions.

* Market Expertise - Stay on top of evolving market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs while helping the team position OSM value effectively.

* Customer Engagement - Work with key customers to understand their operational and IT service challenges and guide them toward high-impact solutions using the OpenText OSM technology stack.

* Revenue Generation - Develop strategies and plans to consistently exceed quota expectations and expand OpenText's footprint in the OSM space.

What You Need to Succeed:

* Proven success in leading enterprise software sales teams, preferably in ITSM, OSM, IT Operations Management, or related enterprise software segments.

* Strong background in solution selling, with an emphasis on aligning customer operational and service management needs with enterprise software.

* Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, lead pipeline generation, and close complex deals.

* Effective communicator and motivator with a passion for mentoring and developing top talent.

* Experience managing national or large regional territories in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

* Ability to build executive-level relationships and influence C-suite decision-makers.

Education and Applicable Experience Required:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* Typically 8-12 years of enterprise software sales experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.

* Experience managing quota-carrying sales teams and consistently exceeding targets.

* Deep understanding of operational service management, IT service management, or IT operations solutions.

* Previous success working cross-functionally with presales, marketing, and services teams.

Salary Range: $400K OTE; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
