Epidemiologist I- Full time- Center for Health Services

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or Co-I coordinates epidemiologic studies.
• Assists in the design and planning of studies, oversees database development and management, and aids in the analysis of data.
• Responsible for various tasks associated with the recruitment of study subjects and acquisition of data for biomedical studies.
• Trains and oversees study personnel.
• May be expected to present an abstract at a national scientific meeting. Expected to participate in journal clubs and keep current with epidemiological literature and methods.
• May assist Investigators in development of abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
• Literacy in computer software programs used for data management and analysis using Python
