Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our athletes at the Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic. As a part of our vibrant community, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the health, performance, and success of our athletes.

About the Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic:

The athletic trainer will be working with primary care sports medicine physicians within the Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic. The athletic trainer will assist with clinical triage and evaluations, contribute to patient centered care, discuss patient discharge and follow up instructions, provide administrative support, and facilitate care with other Henry Ford Health medical groups and departments. Additionally, the athletic trainer will assist with outreach and community sports medicine coverage as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide athletic training services to our athletes at the Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and the Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
