Position Summary

PG&E is seeking experienced compliance analytics professionals to join the Visual Management & Insight Services (VMIS) team.

As an Expert Compliance Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming compliance and operational data into actionable insights and visual management tools. You will convene insights, shape data driven narratives, and deliver visual tools that support leadership decision making. This includes translating complex compliance and operational data into clear stories that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

You will apply structured analytical approaches, collaborate with cross functional teams, and help refine advanced analytics processes. This includes ensuring data integrity, driving adoption of AI enabled insights, and strengtheningreporting, analysis, and insights practices across Electric Compliance and Risk.

Through your work, you will reinforce PG&E's safety culture and compliance posture by producing compelling stories and dashboards that support enterprise learning, transparency, continuous improvement, and innovation.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $126,000.00
Mid Base Salary (Bay Area) $163,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $200,000.00

Minimum Base Salary (California) $120,000.00
Mid Base Salary (California) $155,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (California) $190,000.00

Responsibilities

Data Storytelling & Executive Communication

  • Craft narratives that connect compliance data to business priorities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare executive ready presentations and layered visuals (e.g., 1-3-10 frameworks) for operating reviews and leadership forums.
  • Facilitate discussions that translate insights into actionable plans.

Visual Management Leadership

  • Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards that provide transparency into compliance performance.
  • Apply Lean Visual Management principles to simplify complex data and support quick decision making.
  • Ensure visuals highlight trends, emerging risks, and requiredcontainment/countermeasures.

Insight Convening & Collaboration

  • Partner with Compliance, Governance, and Operations teams to gather and synthesize multisource data.
  • Lead cross functional sessions to align insights, priorities, and next steps.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on compliance performance and risk posture.

Quality & Integrity

  • Validate data accuracy and consistency prior to publishing reports or dashboards.
  • Maintain clear documentation of metrics, definitions, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7 years of experience as an analyst using data analysis tools

Desired:

  • Strong ability totranslate data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with executives.
  • High proficiency inPower BI/Tableauandincluding SQL, Foundry,andAWSfor data validation, data mapping,and ad hoc analysis.
  • Proficiencycommunication and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (FSG, COSO, NIST, SOX) and regulatory bodies (CPUC, FERC, WECC).
  • Experience leadingvisual managementinitiatives andfacilitatingOperating Reviews.
  • Skilled indata storytellingfor diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Certification and Licenses:
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.)
