Description

The Social Media department is responsible for developing and executing strategies across Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Plus, Hallmark Mystery, Hallmark Family and Hallmark events across all digital and social media platforms. The team also delivers innovative social media campaigns to drive tune-in and raise awareness in support of programming and to expand Hallmark's social media and digital footprints.



The hourly rate for this job is $18.00. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL INTERN FUNCTIONS



  • Research relevant competitive footprint in the social space for shorts, reels, and trends across platforms
  • Assist with the creative of daily posts, tweets, pins, etc. for social platforms
  • Assist in the ideation & execution of various social media campaigns around tent pole projects
  • Other social research and/or administrative tasks as needed



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



  • Must be 18 years or older


  • In pursuit of a degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's) from an accredited college or university
  • Social Media experience is highly desired.



OTHER REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS



  • Strong interest in television & social media
  • Knowledge of current social media platforms and trends
  • Interest in emerging social media trends
  • Television/cable viewer
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
