Business Applications Intern

Description

The Business Applications Intern role is designed to complement a student's academic learning while introducing them to Information Technology within a corporate environment. The internship provides hands-on experience through meaningful assignments, exposure to related business functions, and insight into the streaming and cable television industries. Interns can apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios, and in return, we benefit from their fresh perspectives and support in achieving key business objectives.



The hourly rate for this job is $18.00. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Administration, monitoring and maintenance of software infrastructure and applications.
  • Oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of an organization's information systems.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for increased performance or workflow processes



BASIC REQUIREMENTS



  • Applicant must be 18 years or older
  • A rising Junior, Senior, or recent graduate from a four-year university who is currently pursuing or has a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week and commit to and perform intern assignments for the 12- week duration of the program
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid environment
