Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This Marketing Coordinator will support pursuit and marketing efforts through the preparation of qualification packages, proposals, and marketing materials. Working closely with marketing, business development, and technical staff, this role helps ensure timely, accurate, and visually consistent submissions that reflect the firm's brand and quality standards. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play an essential role in producing materials that tell our story, strengthen our brand, and contribute to winning new work, while learning and growing within the firm's marketing and business development framework.
Responsibilities
- Support proposal and qualification efforts by gathering information, formatting content, proofreading, and ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
- Coordinate development of marketing materials and collateral including statements of qualifications, presentations, and brochures in collaboration with project managers, technical staff, and subconsultants.
- Write, proofread, and edit project narratives, staff resumes, and cover letters tailored to client requirements and aligned with brand standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining marketing collateral such as project sheets, resumes, award submissions, and case studies.
- Maintain and update pursuit information and marketing databases (e.g., CRM/Unanet) with accurate project and opportunity data.
- Collaborate with marketing staff to learn and apply firmwide best practices, file management systems, and submission procedures.
- Assist with identifying potential RFP/RFQ opportunities through procurement websites and other industry sources.
- Support preparation of graphics and visual layouts for proposals and presentations, ensuring brand consistency and visual quality.
- Demonstrate an understanding of client needs and market trends within the A/E/C industry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's required or Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business Administration or related field.
- 1+ years of new business proposal writing experience (strong preference for experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry).
- In lieu of degree 3-5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of A/E/C marketing principles, proposal processes, and client-focused communication.
- Show initiative, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
- Write, edit, and proofread with clarity and attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency in all materials.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with marketing, technical, and business development staff, adapting to different personalities and work styles.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign experience strongly preferred).
- Experience with CRM (Unanet) or database tools is a plus.
- Maintain organized files, databases, and project information with accuracy and accountability.
- Exhibit creativity, organization, and resourcefulness while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Apply strong time-management and follow-through skills to meet deadlines and support team needs.
- Display professionalism, dependability, and responsiveness in all communications and interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
