As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for working with and directing the warehouse staff to provide the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency. Monitor performance and improve personnel, systems and procedures. The warehouse team plays an important role in First Supply's success. Supervise warehouse staff
• Route sales orders to accommodate efficiency and customer requests
• Ensure that all orders are loaded and secured for efficient, timely delivery processes
• Ensure that orders are checked for content and labeling and note any discrepancies
• Oversee ship verification process to assure that product on the dock is confirmed
• Ensure that all picks are completed, labeled and loaded accurately
• Monitor staff productivity to ensure that trucks are loaded, and deliveries are made in a timely manner
• Ensure that systems and procedures are implemented and communicated to staff in a timely manner and are followed consistently
• Provide performance plans and feedback for assigned staff to Warehouse Manager
• Monitor attendance of staff and address issues of concern appropriately and per company policy
• Assist the Branch Manager in the hiring, developing and performance improvement of assigned staff
• Assist in the training of staff on any appropriate equipment used
• Ensure the work area is clean and safe
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Knowledge of freight companies and prior experience scheduling (preferred)
• Knowledge or experience with plumbing and heating supplies (preferred)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Functional capacities evaluation which demonstrates ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position
