Curb Machine Operator / Finisher

Minimum Qualifications:

1. General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent

2. 2 years equipment maintenance and operation experience

3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record

4. TopCon GPS Experience Preferred

5. Concrete Finishing required

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained

2. Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on curb machine

3. Safely and properly operate curb machine (including starting and stopping engine, and setting up).

4. Read grade hubs and set string line for curb machine

5. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written); Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.

6. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors

7. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance

8. Performs other duties as assigned.
