What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a dynamic Supervisor, Registration Operations to lead and optimize title and registration transactions for vehicles across Midwestern states. This role ensures seamless operations for state-specific compliance, driving efficiency and supporting customer-facing teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of RegOps Specialists to manage state-specific title and registration processes
  • Be a "hands-on" leader and work closely with the team on transaction workflows, driving process improvements to enhance team efficiency and align with customer-facing operations
  • Proactively define and update team areas of responsibility (AORs) to ensure clear task delegation and accountability across the region
  • Master and enforce compliance with DMV regulations and requirements across the Midwest (e.g., IL, MN, MI, OH, WI, KY, IA, KS, MO, etc.), adapting operations to regulatory changes while meeting state DMV registration deadlines and business targets
  • Identify systemic workflow inefficiencies, escalate critical issues, and collaborate on solutions to foster continuous operational improvement. Ensure adherence to team and company standards, holding members accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Build and maintain strong internal/external stakeholder relationships, fostering partnerships to achieve cross-functional goals
  • Support field teams during nights and weekends, maintaining a flexible schedule to meet business demands.Travel up to 25-50% of the time, including overnight trips (1-2 times/month, 3-5 days/trip)

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of leadership and people management experience in large organizations, with a proven ability to motivate teams and drive results
  • Experience working with state DMV compliance officers and navigating dealer/registration license inspections
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of improving operational and employee productivity
  • Analytical mindset to identify trends, resolve issues, and address blockers at all operational levels
  • In-depth knowledge of DMV title transfer processes in Midwest states and business operations
