Corporate Communications Intern

dormakaba is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern to join our Summer 2026 Rising Talent Program in Indianapolis. This role will report directly to the AVP Corporate Communications. The Corporate Communications Intern is responsible for supporting content creation and project management for corporate communications tools, campaigns and activities.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $19/hr. - $23/hr. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

• Support the development and execution of employee communications such as intranet stories, emails, invitations, flyers, etc.
• Support onsite digital signage internal content and deployment
• Support media list development, media monitoring, reporting
• Support project management, including events

• Attend meetings both within and beyond your designated role to broaden your engagement
• Collaborate with other interns on projects

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Journalism, Communications or Public Relations, with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026 - Spring 2028
• Availability to work full-time, onsite, 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks (May - August 2026)
• Strong writing skills with samples
• Project management experience

• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Experience using Canva, email marketing software, Monday.com (or similar software)
