IntelliScript is a practice within Milliman that provides health and life insurers with real-time data and underwriting decision support tools via software-as-a-service (SaaS). IntelliScript offers an innovative suite of products which interpret and deliver electronic medical data (such as prescription histories, diagnoses, treatment data, etc.) to help our clients make effective underwriting and pricing decisions. This role will serve as a hands-on individual contributor with a strong emphasis on coding, platform delivery, and technical reviews. You will report to the Manager, AI & Machine Learning Engineering, and play a critical role in advancing our Models as a Service (MAAS) initiative, helping to modernize our AI and machine learning model delivery platform. The role will contribute to complex data science projects requiring ML engineering expertise and knowledge of medical claims and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Leveraging expertise in GenAI, ML engineering, software development, and data science, you will deepen their understanding of current product capabilities and develop innovative solutions-such as advanced summarization and agentic workflows-to enhance them. The Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing, deploying, and industrializing sophisticated GenAI and machine learning solutions for healthcare, insurance and adjacent markets. Location The expected application deadline for this job is April 30, 2026. This position is open to remote work.
