Position Summary

The Systems Analyst for the Commercial and Legal IT Systems team serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology solutions. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and supporting systems that enable commercial operations such as sales, marketing, pricing, customer management, revenue and legal processes. The Systems Analyst ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, efficient, and reliable IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand processes, challenges, and system needs

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for commercial systems (e.g., ETRM, CRM, CPQ, ERP, analytics platforms)

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for technical teams

  • Collaborate with developers, architects, vendors, and QA teams to design and implement system enhancements and integrations

  • Support system configuration, testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation validation

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system improvements within commercial workflows

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned commercial applications, providing ongoing support and issue resolution

  • Assist with data analysis, reporting requirements, and system data integrity related to commercial operations

  • Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance standards

  • Maintain documentation, including system designs, business processes, and support procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field

  • One (1) or more years of IT/business systems experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field

  • Three (3) or more years of IT/business systems experience

  • Experience with commercial systems such as: (ETRM, CRM, CPQ, and ERP)

  • Support system configuration, testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation validation

Working Conditions

  • This position is located in Charlotte, NC.

  • This is an in-person position with a 4/1 schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
