Job Title: Senior Help Desk Support
Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid: Tue-Thu required; remote Mon/Fri)
Contract Duration: 6 months possibility for extension.

Shift: 1st or 2nd (5:00 AM - 11:00 PM ET); 5 days/week (may include weekends); schedule set post-training

About the Role

Join a leading financial services firm's Service Desk team as a Senior Help Desk Support specialist, providing IT support for internal end users. Deliver first-call resolutions via remote tools and ticketing in a dynamic banking environment. Onsite-hybrid role focused on software/hardware troubleshooting and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide remote application support using access tools to resolve end-user issues.
  • Monitor/respond to inbound calls/chats via Service Desk soft phone or modules.
  • Troubleshoot software (occasional hardware) via remote machine access for first-call resolution.
  • Log/track/escalate tickets in ServiceNow.
  • Onboard new agents via training and shadowing.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks from Service Desk Managers.


Requirements



  • Help desk experience with remote tools, software troubleshooting, ServiceNow.
  • Strong user interaction skills (phone/chat) in high-volume settings.
  • Shift flexibility (5 AM-11 PM ET; possible weekends, 5-day weeks).
  • Onsite availability Tue-Thu in Richmond, VA hybrid model.
