DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES


  • Performs an array of warehouse functions that may include assembly of products/parts, shipping, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or organizing and retrieving stock.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on automated packaging, sorting lines and their processes.
  • Maintains inventory controls and assists in the troubleshooting of discrepancies.
  • Follows established guidelines regarding safety and task completion, including meeting quality, efficiency, and accuracy standards.
  • Complies with all company policies, including Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and Japan Sarbanes-Oxley (JSOX) controls, hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT).
  • Effectively communicates in a variety of settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environment. Supports 5S (Sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain) and LEAN concepts to promote a clean, uncluttered, safe and organized work area.
  • Provides guidance and task direction to less experience staff, as needed.
  • Supports cross departmental labor share.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:


  • Packaging or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Teamwork and communication: Being able to give and receive instructions, share information, and collaborate.
  • Ability to brainstorm, suggest and implement creative ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work with, and provide training to a diverse group of people.
  • Basic computer skills including, IBM iSeries, Excel, Oracle EBS, etc.
  • Sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to read and write English, complete basic forms, logs, and other company documents.
  • Basic math skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


This position is onsite in North Bend, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
