What We Offer

The Rotating Equipment Planner will prepare the detailed plans necessary to safely and efficiently execute non-emergency maintenance work. These plans have been selected, prioritized and approved by the RBWS (Risk Based Work Selection) meeting. The work plans developed by the Rotating Equipment Planner will be scheduled and executed according to the weekly schedule.

This is a full-time role working a 9/80 schedule and includes competitive pay, annual bonus potential, generous paid time off, 401K with company match, retirement contribution, tuition reimbursement, parental leave and medical, dental and vision coverage (no waiting period).

Major Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain maintenance plans for all rotating equipment within assigned area

  • Plan non-emergency maintenance jobs (Planned, Next Opportunity and preventative maintenance work) to the appropriate details including man-hour, cost estimates, material requirements, access needs, etc.)

  • Create job plans for repairs/replacement of rotating equipment and critical equipment (Cooling tower fans and pumps) across the site

  • Create and maintain task lists for repetitive jobs (job plan library)

  • Identify and communicate and address repetitive equipment problems to Asset Engineer

  • Create and maintain Bills of Material

  • Outline detailed work instructions for work execution, outlining safety advice, resources, material, tools and services

  • Work closely with the CMC (Contractor Management Coordinator) to plan for contractor resource requirements

  • Ensure that jobs are planned in a timely manner to support the requested notification requirement dates

  • Ensure job resources are obtained and orders are set to the 'ready-to-schedule' status

  • Review and purge the backlog on a weekly basis, and distributing the 'ready-to-schedule' backlog to their area of responsibility

  • Close out jobs by entering notification history and technically completing orders

  • Review completed shop papers and update the associated task lists and bills of material

What You Offer

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 12 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience; OR at least 7 years' experience with an Associates degree OR at least 4 years' experience with a Bachelors degree

  • The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years planning/scheduling experience

  • 2+ years working with SAP

  • Demonstrated experience in equipment planning for rotating equipment and cooling towers

  • Certification from Vocational or Technical school in millwright or completed apprenticeship in millwright

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge with SAP - PM Maintenance Transactions and Prometheus

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Effective problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational ability
