General Laborer (Opa Locka FL)

Waste Connections is hiring General Labor at our Opa Locka Hauling and Opa Locka TS FL!

Pay: $21.00 an hour, depending on experience

Work Week: 50-55 hours per week, Monday through Friday

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this physically active position, you will perform generic janitorial duties. Items such as but not limited to vacuuming, trash bag replacement, mopping, bathroom services, etc. This role involves heavy lifting, walking short distances, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform general office janitorial work.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determinesafe and environmentally sound solutions toserviceissues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Willingness and motivation to pursue a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 2-3 years
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
