Role Overview:

TheSales Agronomistisresponsible formanaging existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory,assistingcustomers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, andmaintainingand developing profitable customer relationships.

A Sample of WhatYou'llDo inthis Role:

  • Manage and maintain existing accounts to drive growth and profitability.
  • Walk fields and maintain scouting records
  • Work closely with operations to execute field treatments
  • Provideagronomic guidance to customers on product selection and use.
  • Maintainstrong, profitable relationships to maintain customer goals.
  • Cooperate with sales and operations staff at the branch,aligningstrategies, goals, and execution plans.
  • Cooperate with support resources across nutrition, crop protection, branded products, and technology, ensuring successful implementation in the territory
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, sales goals, and risk management in line with credit policies
  • Represent Wilbur-Ellis as the primary customer contact and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

What You Bring tothe Role:

  • 5+ years of experience in the agricultural industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Minimal travelmay be required
  • Knowledge of agricultural production and practiceswith local crops
  • Knowledge of pesticides and fertilizers
  • PCA License required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $96,600 - $128,750. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
