Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Consultant 1:

TheConsultant/Scientistwillprovideenvironmentalcompliance withdedicatedsupportfor a specific client in a remote capacity in a dataanalysisand dataadministration role.The scope is defined as follows:
Review each site-specific environmental permit andidentifypermit compliance requirements. Permits may include air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, Above Ground Storage Tanks, Underground Storage Tanks, hazardous material storage, hazardous waste management, building occupancy, etc. depending on the type and complexity of a site.
Theconsultantwill need to be able to work independently and communicate well withclients and other Apex team members.The ability toidentifyissues related toenvironmentalregulations, developcompliancetasks,andidentifypotential gaps. The consultant will need the ability to interpret regulations and understand best practices for effective implementation.

After 6 months, it isanticipated thattheposition will transition into a more field focused role with the consultant conductingenvironmental complianceinspections at various sites in an assigned geographic area.

What we're looking for:

Required Experience:

BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences,Environmental Management, Biology,Geology,Business Analytics,or related discipline.Experience (0-3+ years) compliance-relatedexperience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Technical Writing skills is a must.

Preferred Skills:

Strong analytical skills. Detail oriented. Good communication skills for client interactions.
Industry or consulting experience a plus.
