Job Description:

• The EVP, Innovation & Technology Advancement is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology vision to drive mission impact, operational excellence, and long-term growth. This role leads the identification, development, and deployment of innovative solutions that advance customer outcomes, strengthen competitive differentiation, and scale enterprise capabilities. The EVP partners closely with executive leadership, delivery teams, and customers to translate emerging technologies into practical, secure, and resilient solutions, while ensuring alignment with business strategy, compliance requirements, and risk management standards. In addition, the role oversees technology governance, investment prioritization, and talent development to ensure innovation is intentional, disciplined, and directly tied to measurable value creation.

The EVP, Innovation & Technology Advancement shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Collaborate with customers, executive leadership, and delivery teams to shape solutions that are practical, secure, and mission-ready.
• Oversee Technology Governance and Risk
  • Establish guardrails for architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance while enabling responsible innovation.
• Prioritize Technology Investments
  • Guide R&D, internal tooling, and capability investments to maximize impact, scalability, and return.
• Enable Growth and Market Differentiation
  • Support capture, BD, and pipeline efforts by aligning technology capabilities with market demand and proposal strategies.
• Build and Lead Technical Talent
  • Attract, develop, and retain high-performing technical leaders and teams; foster a culture of disciplined innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• We value candidates who bring a strong academic foundation combined with real-world experience driving innovation, communicating complex ideas clearly, and navigating mission-focused environments. Experience supporting government customers or national security missions is highly desirable, as is a demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into outcomes that resonate across technical and non-technical audiences.
• 20+ years of progressive technical leadership experience, with at least 10 years in a senior or executive technology role (CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Engineer, Director or Technology, etc.).
• Proven expertise in cloud architectures, software engineering, data platforms, and security practices.
• Demonstrated experience scaling technology in a high-growth environment.
• Background in strategic planning, budgeting, and vendor/partner management.
• Advanced education or equivalent experience in a technical or related field preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physical Demands
  • Must be able to work in a typical office environment in Columbia, MD.
  • Position may require travel as identified by the customers and individual to meet with employees or customers.
  • Work Schedule is full-time Monday-Friday with flexibility for off hours if needed to be responsive to emerging strategic demands.

Pay Range: Competitive

The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
