Job Summary
Join the Callier Center as a Clinical Practice Manager and lead the day-to-day operations that keep our clinic running smoothly. You will oversee insurance verification, patient scheduling, registration, charge capture and reconciliation, billing, and collections all while ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
In this role, you will supervise the front office, scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and collections/accounts receivable teams. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, you'll have the opportunity to drive operational excellence, mentor staff, and make a meaningful impact on both clinic performance and patient care.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and five years of related accounting and office management/supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3 years of experience in clinical office management within a healthcare setting, including supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in a customer service-oriented environment.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record (EMR) systems; strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated business, analytical, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Ability to tailor communication to suit the needs of the audience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and state and federal regulations governing patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage front- and back-office operations at Dallas facilities to maximize patient satisfaction, patient access, insurance benefit verification, authorizations, and referrals, while ensuring timely and accurate billing and charge entry.
  • Directly supervise patient scheduling operations.
  • Directly supervise patient and insurance billing activities.
  • Manage receivables, denials, and collections for the Callier Dallas clinic, including payment collection at the time of service and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Generate monthly operational reports, including clinic aged accounts receivable reports.
  • Supervise and train clinical support staff, providing positive leadership to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality patient care.
  • Serve as the liaison between the practice and the centralized billing and collections office.
  • Collaborate with the Directors of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Operations to ensure processes align with facility goals and promote high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Complete monthly financial reconciliations for the Callier Dallas office.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Administrative Operations and Special Projects to ensure compliance with university, state, and federal policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
