Job Description

Senior Quality System Engineer

Location: North Hollywood, CA

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Quality System Engineer to help maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS) for aerospace production. You will lead audits, support special processes (Heat Treat, NDT, Coatings), drive corrective actions, and ensure we meet AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, and customer requirements.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain and improve the AS9100compliant QMS
  • Support FAA, customer, NADCAP, and internal audits
  • Lead rootcause analysis and corrective actions
  • Oversee special process compliance (Heat Treat, NDT, Coatings)
  • Manage quality data, metrics, and customer portal submissions
  • Support FAI/AS9102, inspection planning, and MRB activities
  • Train and mentor quality team members
  • Work with suppliers on quality and process issues

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field
  • 10+ years of quality engineering in aerospace
  • Expert on Quality management system (QMS)
  • Strong experience with AS9100 and NADCAP
  • Knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, control plans, metrology, and inspection systems
  • Experience working under FAA oversight
  • Ability to lead audits and complex corrective actions

Preferred Skills

  • ASQ CQE or Six Sigma certification
  • Lean/continuous improvement experience
  • Strong communication and project management skills

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $106000 to $145000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.25X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
