About the Role:

The Clinical Learning and Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the clinical competencies and professional growth of healthcare staff within the organization. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that align with clinical best practices and regulatory requirements. The coordinator collaborates closely with clinical leaders and educators to identify learning needs and develop targeted training solutions that improve patient care outcomes. By managing the logistics and administration of learning activities, this role ensures seamless delivery and accessibility of educational resources across multiple clinical departments. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical education, training coordination, or healthcare learning and development.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and standard office software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
  • Certification in clinical education or professional development (e.g., Certified Clinical Educator, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance).
  • Experience working in a hospital or large healthcare system environment.
  • Familiarity with adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze educational outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver clinical education programs and workshops tailored to various healthcare professionals.
  • Assess learning needs through collaboration with clinical staff, leadership, and performance data analysis.
  • Manage scheduling, registration, and communication for all clinical training sessions and continuing education activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives through feedback collection, data analysis, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines, accreditation standards, and emerging trends in healthcare education.
  • Support clinical educators and subject matter experts in curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to clinical training and professional development.
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to track participation, progress, and certification status of clinical staff.
