Job Description

The Commercial Data and Process Optimization Lead partners cross-functionally to improve critical Commercial data elements and processes, leading to smarter decisions and stronger customer outcomes. This role has the opportunity to make a tangible impact both in AFNA and with diverse global teams in other Business Groups.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Support Sales and Marketing teams by creating and improving the data tools they need to make profitable business decisions
  • Use data tools to design and refine proactive reporting that helps mitigate risk of business loss
  • Develop customer-facing reports tailored to individual customer needs, balancing customization with scalable automation
  • Serve as subject matter expert for commercial systems, representing the commercial stakeholders in cross-functional process and system development
  • Communicate with other teams to eliminate duplicative work and uncover creative solutions that improve interdepartmental workflows
  • Own/maintain Raw Material Reference data used by the Pricing and Sales & Marketing teams to prepare competitive, timely and accurate price quotes.
  • Lead monthly discussions on raw material market price and impacts to Amcor products
  • Be the subject matter expert on Raw Material Reference and ensure accuracy of guidance, calculations, and implementation
  • Work with Procurement, Pricing, and R&D, challenging stakeholders to continuously review raw material guidance strategy and methods
  • Serve as project manager for cross-functional process automation and software solution development
  • Maintain databases of raw material benchmarks and provide analysis on comparisons between
  • Partner with functions and BU teams to implement best practices for RMR use, costing processes, and contract compliance analysis. This involves automating existing systems and implementing new software and tools as needed.
  • Actively engage in change management processes, including training, process audits, and continuous enhancement and renewal
  • Take ownership for personal development, staying on top of tools, systems, and best practices in data analytics to provide best-in-class resources to the commercial team

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence working with large datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Excel
  • Experience leading project teams
  • Effective participation in multi-functional work projects and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in data management, process improvement, and commercial operations.
