As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence to staff, patients, and visitors. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Assist staff, visitors, and patients by providing directions and responding to general inquiries in a professional manner.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
