This position will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating programs that result in EHS regulatory compliance. Specifically, the Safety Engineer will be required to apply their scientific and practical knowledge of the Safety compliance field to innovate, design, and improve systems, processes, equipment, and tools in their assigned areas to improve the Safety characteristics in alignment with daily operations business plan, and/or innovation to achieve or exceed targets and promote safety excellence. Additionally, the Safety Engineer will lead and manage all activities related to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to ensure preparedness and effective response during emergencies. In this role, you will identify workplace hazards, implement safety standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise in risk assessment, accident prevention, and safety training will help us maintain a secure and efficient working environment. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and compliance teams to create a safer work environment, prevent accidents, and improve overall safety performance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of occupational health and safety, engineering principles, safety regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.
