As Okta continues to evolve and scale its Technology, Data & Intelligence (TDI) organization, we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Program Manager within the TDI Strategy & Planning team. This role will be responsible for organizing and leading the portfolio management framework and program reviews across the TDI portfolio, as well as strategic programs within the Strategy & Planning area. You'll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the TDI organization, as well as key stakeholders within company-level business operations, finance, and technology domain teams. This role will have a strong mix of portfolio management, program leadership, and a solid understanding of tracking delivery of critical programs leveraging Atlassian products.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles across the TDI portfolio
Facilitate executive reviews and QBRs to track and communicate progress
Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into portfolio health and business impact
Act as a strategic advisor to align TDI investments with company goals and VMTs
Portfolio Management & Governance
Manage intake and prioritization frameworks across the TDI portfolio
Drive successful adoption of portfolio management rituals and solution frameworks
Create executive summaries and dashboard views to show delivery status of programs across the TDI portfolio
Identify and lead end-to-end improvements across the TDI portfolio management framework
Program Execution
Lead execution of cross-functional strategy and planning programs using Agile and hybrid methodologies
Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and tied to business outcomes
Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and execution What You'll Bring to the Role
8+ years of related professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Proven success leading strategic planning, portfolio management, and organization-level program execution
Ability to lead through influence without direct authority
Strong understanding of managing program delivery across a large portfolio using Atlassian products such as Jira, Projects, and Goals
Experience driving process change in complex, cross-functional environments
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in matrixed organizations Why You'll Love This Role

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
