ADVANCED EMT FULL-TIME & PART-TIMEOpportunity

1.5k sign-on bonus, full time, with one year commitment

We're hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advanced EMTs provideanassessment of patients, determine necessarycareanddeliveremergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, conditionandtreatmentwhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Take pride in providinga safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use appropriate Advanced EMT skills to provide care includingcommunications, medicalequipment, cleaningprocedures, office equipment and tools.
  • Advanced EMTs operateanambulance in conjunction with applicablecompanysafety policies,andtraffic lawsrelated totheoperation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow co-workers.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Driver's License
  • National or State Advanced EMTcertification
  • CPR/BLS certifications
  • Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
  • Pass a Physical Agility Test

WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


Working Conditions: Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, extended workdays. Long periods inside the ambulance. May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather. Possible routine exposure to moderate noise levels. May periodically work in poorly lit environments in a moving vehicle.

Physical Demands: Moderate to extended amounts of sitting, standing, and walking. Some repetitive motion activities. Routinely lifting more than 200 lbs. with assistance. Pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, carrying, typing and stair climbing. Visual identification of color-coded items. Clear speech and hearing. Must be able to wear a face mask or respirator with proper fit for extended periods when required.

Mental Requirements: Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Fatigue, high pressure, exposure to stressful situations.
