Responsibilities Primary Duties, Responsibilities or Activities Required by Job: *Obtain samples for quality control or requested testing from various products as assigned. Perform bacterial testing on platelet products. Other Secondary Functions Qualifications Education: Associate's degree as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to the requirements above that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job. Prior experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
Abilities: Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must also be able to stand for long periods and sit, stand, walk and lift alternately throughout the duration of the shift. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data entry skills required. Schedule: 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm; Includes every third W/E and alternating holidays. The proposed rate of pay for this position is $20.79/hr.
