Operating Room Assistant Job Ref: 33596 Category: Service & Trade Location: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Operating Room Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: 0730-1600 Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job Summary Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Operating Room, responsible for transportation of patients within the department and for communication of pertinent information to the RN. Responsibilities for additional functions include general cleaning, ordering and stocking of supplies, acting as transport for specimens and patients on nursing floors, relaying messages, assisting with room turnover. Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a registered Perioperative nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education High school graduate preferred. Experience Previous hospital experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification None required. Skills Strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. o Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information.
