About the Role:

The Clinical Director of Recovery and Community Integration plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing and enhancing clinical programs that support individuals in their recovery journey and successful reintegration into the community. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based practices that promote holistic recovery, resilience, and independence among clients. The Clinical Director collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and to address barriers to community integration. They provide clinical supervision, guidance, and training to staff to maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role drives continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize client outcomes and foster a supportive, recovery-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related clinical field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or recovery services, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recovery-oriented systems of care and community integration principles.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards relevant to behavioral health services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within diverse populations and knowledge of culturally responsive practices.
  • Familiarity with grant writing and program development to secure funding for recovery initiatives.
  • Certification in trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing.
  • Experience with data management systems and outcome measurement tools.
  • Advanced training in leadership, organizational development, or healthcare administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of recovery-oriented clinical programs and community integration services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to therapists, counselors, and case managers to ensure effective treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and social services to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Monitor program compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Analyze clinical data and outcomes to inform program improvements and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Develop and facilitate staff training on best practices in recovery, trauma-informed care, and cultural competence.
  • Advocate for client needs and promote policies that support recovery and community inclusion.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.

The Clinical Director utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to guide multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across departments and community partners.
