About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Sr. Manager, EHSS (East) to join our team. As a Regional Sr. Manager, EHSS, you will ensure regulatory compliance and lead safety culture transformation across multiple bakeries in the U.S. and Canada. You will drive risk reduction, strengthen environmental programs, and coach site EHS teams to achieve worldclass safety performance. This role requires onsite support at bakeries across the U.S. and Canada four days per week (with approximately 25% travel), enabling close partnership with bakery leadership and frontline teams.

Compensation



  • Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Lead cultural change and drive a zeroaccident safety mindset across multiple bakery locations
  • Develop, enhance, and integrate EHSS programs that meet corporate and regulatory standards
  • Partner with bakery leadership to improve regulatory compliance and advance environmental programs
  • Conduct and support environmental and safety audits, identifying hazards and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Monitor U.S. and Canadian EHSS regulations and ensure compliance with agencies such as SCAQMD, SWRCB, CARB, CUPA, DTSC, and Canadian equivalents
  • Coach, mentor, and develop site-based EHS personnel
  • Analyze EHSS performance trends and support robust accident and nearmiss investigations



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • 7+ years of EHSS experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline-or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian EHSS regulations
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities across different regions
  • Ability to work around mechanical equipment, variable weather, and environmental exposure
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities


  • Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • M.S. in Occupational Safety or related field
  • Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, or Canadian equivalents
  • Experience in both U.S. and Canadian safety programs and audits
  • Experience leading multisite EHSS teams or initiatives
