Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr Systems Specialist to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:




  • Install and Service all equipment for the CFA HQ buildings. CCTV, Access , Fire and Security


  • Accountable for the successful completion of service requests to include: Quality of Work, Timely results and Customer satisfaction (Closing out work orders from clients Ticket Management System)


  • Experience installing and troubleshooting security systems, CCTV systems and access control systems: Feenics, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Door King, Milestone, and Software House


  • Install and maintain head end equipment, all field devices and basic programming for various Security Access Control, CCTV Systems, and Security Door and Gate Intercom systems. Layout the system, install the cable, and test connectors, labeling and firestop. Assure that the equipment provides the service requested by the customer, completing the work order showing the work is completed, ensuring the documentation and database are updated


  • Coordinate and oversees contracted work with the contractor, providing specific instructions and/or help on projects, inspecting completed work for acceptance and compliance with ION247 standards, and ensuring that the network documentation is updated


  • Provide site assessments for access control, CCTV, and locking systems and aid in the design of systems and development of SOW


  • Provide technical expertise for installation, repair, and service


  • Must be able to pull, dress, label, terminate and test various types of category cable


  • Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solutions on own, request assistance if necessary


  • Participates in approved job-related training and development programs. Participates in equipment training and receives certification, and operates equipment as needed


  • Respond to telephone calls, email, and internal staff requests for technical support to include documentation, tracking, and monitoring of the request to ensure a timely resolution


  • Identify, prioritize, and escalate support tickets requiring urgent attention


  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues


  • Follow up on reassigned unresolved requests


  • Research questions using available information resources



Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED; or two years related experience or training on manufacturer systems installations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 Years of Experience working in similar technical role
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Secure Certified and Avigilon Certified


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associates degree or two (2) years technical school (preferably in Electronics Training or equivalent Military Training)
  • Industry certification(s)
  • Low Voltage License
  • Basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication, strong sense of customer service
  • Experience using standard electrical test equipment or specialty test equipment used with network systems, AV equipment, Intercom and Telephone Systems, or Security equipment
