Come join our Annie Penn Rehab team to experience a variety of patient care, all in one place. We have 8 PT's and 2 PTA's, as well was OT's and SLP's that treat across the lifespan. We are located in the heart of Reidsville in a convenient location and less than a 30-minute drive from Greensboro. Our therapists qualify for "rural" pay - an additional $2.50/hour. We treat patients one-on-one for 45-minute sessions.

This position will provide care to our pediatric clients. Common diagnoses include autism, developmental delays/delayed milestones, sensory processing disorder, genetic disorders, neurological conditions, etc.

The Physical Therapist evaluates patients' conditions, develops personalized treatment plans, and implements therapeutic interventions to optimize functional abilities. This role works closely with patients, guiding them through exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. This role also educates patients on injury prevention, provides pain management strategies, and monitors progress throughout the treatment process. The Physical Therapist monitors and evaluates outcomes related to the assessment and plan of care. This position requires guidance and mentoring for completion of the essential job functions.

Essential Job Function

  • Supports evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Administers therapeutic exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.

  • Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.

  • Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.

  • Monitors and documents patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed.

  • Collaborates on teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Experience

Licensure/Certification/Listing

  • Required:North Carolina license by the NCPT Board of Physical Therapy ExaminersBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
