Job Description Number of positions: 1 Term: 4 Months Start Date: May 2026 About AltaGas We are a North American energy infrastructure company with a focus on connecting customers and markets to affordable and reliable sources of energy. About the Role This internship offers exposure to two key areas of a publicly traded energy company: Investor Relations and Corporate Development. You will learn how companies communicate with investors, analyze market trends, and evaluate strategic opportunities. This role provides a high-level understanding of financial markets, corporate strategy, and stakeholder engagement. What You'll Do Your responsibilities may include: Supporting research and data gathering to assist with investor communications and strategic projects. Helping prepare general materials for meetings, presentations, and internal discussions. Learning about market trends, financial performance, and how these influence corporate decisions. Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects to support team objectives. What You'll Bring Currently enrolled in a Business, Finance, Economics, or related program. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial concepts is an asset. Clear communication skills and willingness to learn. What You'll Gain Insight into investor relations practices and corporate development strategies. Exposure to financial markets, industry trends, and strategic planning in the energy sector. Mentorship from experienced professionals and networking opportunities.
