Key Responsibilities * Manage and organize electronic medical records (EMR) for anesthesia patients * Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records * Assist in the implementation and maintenance of EMR systems * Process requests for medical records in compliance with * HIPAA regulations * Perform regular audits to ensure records meet quality * Assist in preparing reports for quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in medical records management, preferably in anesthesia or surgical settings * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to anesthesiology * Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HI TECH, and Joint Commission standards * Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Onsite role in Addison, TX 1st shift Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.
