Job Description
General Purpose To provide administrative and clerical support to Human Resources functions such as benefits, compensation, worker's compensation/disability, and employment. Essential Duties
- Accurately files Team Member information into the appropriate Team Member personnel file, including but not limited to: Human Resource Team Member files for active and terminated Team Members, pension files for retirees, term vested and deceased retirees, etc. using a paper filing system and electronic filing systems.
- Responsible for information gathering and responding to approved subpoena requests.
- Coordinate requests from Team Members and Leadership to review Team Member personnel files.
- Coordinates with Employment Relations staff regarding requests from Team Members to remove expiring discipline reports from employee records.
- Scan documents for Agency Team Members, tuition reimbursement, and leaves of absences.
- As requested, completed special tasks/projects such as data entry, mailings, information gathering, scanning, copying, faxing, and deliveries.
- Evaluates processes and implements changes on a continuous basis to improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of work.
- Maintains confidentially with Team Member records.
- Audit Team Member personnel files in coordination with internal HR accreditation team to determine required education, fingerprinting approvals, and license information are in the file and easily located.
- Participates in and/or coordinates items for special projects as needed, such as open enrollment, resident orientation, etc.
- Provide receptionist coverage at the Human Resources front desk area in coordination with front desk HR assistant's lunch breaks and time off.
Job Requirements
| Work Experience |
* Minimum of two years clerical and/or customer service experience. * Prior experience in a Human Resource setting preferred * Experience with Microsoft Access software preferred |
| Education |
* High school diploma or GED. * Associate degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred |
| Specialized Knowledge and Skills |
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Minimum keyboarding skill of 45 wpm. * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word and Excel). * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. * Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation. * High-level problem solving and organizational skills. * Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job. |
