About the team:

As a Renewal Manager, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals striving to renew current partnerships with FIS customers across designated market segments and product suites in North America. You will collaborate with State & Federal Agencies as well as Partner organizations to drive FIS' Government Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) programs with endless opportunities for success.

About the role:

This role will focus on renewing Government contracts and ensuring compliance with program requirements. By providing industry-leading solutions, strategic products, and industry expertise, you'll retain and drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks, and invests.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working with current FIS customers to retain their business
  • Identify current contracts approaching expiration to initiate and conduct retention discussions with the relevant customer
  • Prepare and present overviews of the client's current FIS relationships and product suites to establish a baseline understanding of the business involved in the renewal
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate pricing proposals to retain the client relationship
  • Present and negotiate updated contract documents to retain the client relationship
  • Identify "next best" or new products the customer can use to grow their business and facilitate incorporation of those into the renewal discussions.
  • Drive renewal strategies specifically for Government EBT programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and program integrity.
  • Partner with internal teams to align on EBT program enhancements and future roadmap opportunities.

What you bring:

  • Expert negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in negotiating contracts in the Banking/Payments Industry -
  • Experience presenting to all levels of the organization, including CEO/CIO/COO
  • Experience and skills across the full suite of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Strong understanding of Government EBT programs, including operational processes and compliance requirements.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of FIS' products and services
  • Knowledge of the Banking or Financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Government EBT
  • Experience with Financial Technology software, services, and capabilities
  • Familiarity with state and federal procurement processes and contract lifecycle management desirable.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $98,200.00 - $162,040.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
