A global industrial manufacturing leader supporting infrastructure, transportation, and advanced equipment systems is seeking a skilled Machinist to support daily production across multiple work cells. This role is ideal for a seasoned machinist who values safety, quality, and productivity-and can work confidently from print to finished part.

Hours & Pay



  • Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

    • Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM


  • Work Environment: On-site manufacturing facility

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities



  • Program, set up, and operate conventional, special-purpose, and NC/CNC machines to fabricate metallic components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, inserts, offsets, and qualify first-article parts
  • Calculate and adjust machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and coolant flow
  • Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, depth mics, and indicators
  • Perform trial runs to verify the accuracy of setups and programmed data
  • Support troubleshooting by collaborating with engineering, production, maintenance, and programming teams
  • Perform basic welding tasks as needed to cut or repair parts
  • Design or modify tooling and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Update inventory and scrap tracking systems and tag non-conforming material
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures



Qualifications & Requirements



  • Associate degree from a technical school with four years of machinist experience, or six years of equivalent machinist experience and training
  • CNC programming experience and working knowledge of CAD software
  • Strong blueprint reading skills with a working understanding of GD&T
  • Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot programs at the machine controller
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • MIG welding ability preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and Microsoft Excel, or the ability to learn
