*Technical Delivery Manager / Hybrid - Must be Local to Greater Seattle, WA / (9 Month Contract With Potential to Extend)*
***This role will require working onsite in Seattle, WA 3-4 days per week* ***To be successful in this role candidates must have strong experience in Engineering, and Technical Product Management.* ***This resources must have strong Release Management experience across Engineering teams.* ***This is NOT a TPM role.* This role helps the company deliver high-quality technology products by managing the release process and making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll work with engineering and product teams to coordinate releases, improve processes, and keep projects on track. *The Ideal Candidate* * Highly technically competent, highly organized, and deeply passionate about release excellence, while also being charismatic, engaging, and able to tell compelling stories about their impact. * They understand the role's strategic focus, demonstrate strong communication skills, and have hands-on experience managing complex releases at scale. *Personality & Communication* * *Engaging and charismatic*: Speaks confidently, builds rapport easily, and demonstrates enthusiasm. * *Passionate about release excellence*: Shows genuine care for quality and reliability in software delivery. * *Storyteller mindset*: When discussing past experiences, uses an engaging narrative that highlights their role and impact. * *Values coordination and clarity*: Expresses frustration with poor communication and emphasizes proactive collaboration. *Understanding of The Role* * Candidate should clearly understand this is NOT a TPM role. * Can articulate the high-level focus: driving release excellence, ensuring quality, and managing dependencies-not just project tracking. * Demonstrates understanding and unique responsibilities of this role. *Motivation* * Shows passion for the work and commitment to quality. * Expresses a desire to prevent issues caused by poor coordination and communication. *Technical & Functional Experience* * *Software Release Management*: * Can provide detailed examples of managing releases at scale. * Can provide personal responsibility for key requirements (coordination, quality gates, risk mitigation). * Experience with platforms serving *large user bases (millions)* and strict SLAs for performance. * *Scope & Scale*: * Can specify how many teams they worked with and describe orchestration across multiple groups. * Familiar with service layer architecture, SLAs for transaction speed, and peak request volumes. * *Metrics & Impact*: * Demonstrated ability referencing measurable outcomes (e.g., reduced release failures, improved SLA compliance, accelerated delivery). *Job Description* * You're not just tracking tasks-you're making sure complex tech projects are clear, organized, and successful. * You'll bring structure to new, sometimes ambiguous projects and help teams stay aligned. * Strong relationships and teamwork are key. You'll inspire teams to do their best and speak up when something isn't right. *What This Team Does* * We make sure critical platforms are released to production reliably and on time. * We work closely with engineering and product teams to improve communication, reduce silos, and make releases faster and more predictable. * We continuously improve processes so developers can work more efficiently and customers get better experiences. *Key Responsibilities* * Plan and manage product releases across multiple teams. * Coordinate schedules, dependencies, and readiness activities. * Track progress, share updates, and keep everyone aligned. * Use data to measure release success and improve future releases. * Support technical projects from planning through testing and launch. * Identify risks and help resolve issues quickly. * Improve processes to make delivery faster, more reliable, and higher quality. *What We're Looking For* * Someone who loves organizing complex projects and making them successful. * A strong communicator who can lead teams and build trust. * Technical experience with attention to detail. * Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. * Passionate about quality and continuous improvement. *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in tech or equivalent experience. * 7+ years in technical delivery, Engineering, Technical Product Management * 5+ years managing digital product releases in an agile environment. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience working with distributed teams. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
