Our Power Team is seeking an ambitious and organized team member to assist the engineering team. The selected candidate must have an endless focus on efficiency, quality, and exceptional client service. The selected candidate should be able to work independently, yet willingly support others to accomplish common goals. Must have the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various engineering team members in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is able to meet deadlines, and handles stressful situations well. Attention to detail is a must. This position involves following an exact process repeatedly with a high degree of quality as well as effectively communicate issues regarding the process with the team. This position will assist the engineering team by checking in, checking out cataloging/filing, scaling and transmitting engineering related drawings and information to the HDR Engineering team and HDR clients.
In the role of Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Creating and maintaining paper and electronic files relating to project work
- Applies company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management.
- Familiarity and understanding of construction drawings and documents
- Familiarity with Projectwise
- Understands CAD drawing attributes
- Assists with developing project guides and provides information and support for project reviews
- Type, format and organize project documents, reports, specifications and correspondence
- Assist in updating projects estimate to complete and percent complete
- Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various team members in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Exhibit professionalism with clients
- Works well in a team environment and communicates well with many different team members
- Work with multiple project teams as needed
- Tracking and reporting on project deliverables
- Ability to respond to a changing and evolving process as well as learn new tasks.
- Excellent organization skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Perform other duties as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree/ Bachelor's degree
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
