Security Officer - Building Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Building Patrol Driver in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by assisting tenants, visitors, and staff at the commercial real estate location, following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Monitor access points and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, assisting with evacuations and/or other protocols based on the situation.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and relay important information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
